"Inspirational and Christian Enrichment Series"

(Now Scheduling for Fall/Winter 2009-2010!)

Series A:  "Christian Enrichment and Motivation"

   "Dare to Dream"

Dreams are the stuff of which lives are made.  They represent our hopes and aspirations.  And, in the words of the late Jim Valvano, North Carolina’s resilient basketball coach, "Never give up..." until you realize your dream.

  • "Half-Lived Lives"

All of us have ups and downs, peaks and valleys.  Nonetheless, there is an exciting and abundant life out there for those who are independent and courageous enough to live it.

  • "Happiness is Your Choice"

Not even the U.S. Constitution guarantees happiness to America’s citizens.  It simply assures us the right to pursue it.  It’s our choice alone.

  • "Dealing with Disappointment"

Broken, beaten down, ready to surrender to the unsuccessful expectations that you or others have set for yourself?  Chin up, don’t dispair! There are positive, constructive ways that you can learn to deal with the lack of fulfillment.

  • "Stressed Out"

Generalized stress may have gotten a bad rap.  Seems like nearly every crisis - real or imagined - is now attributed to some form of induced tension.  Real or not, there are some effective physical, mental, and spiritual ways to manage this increasing concern.

 Series B:  "Inspirational"

  • "Apostles of Jesus"

Are we not like most of the apostles?  Commonplace.  Simple.  Ordinary folks.  Yet, there are some extraordinary lessions to be learned from this noble, diverse, and somewhat eccentric band that Jesus handpicked to continue his earthly work after he returned to heaven.

  • "Endurance"

You were doing quite well running the Christian race, keeping decent pace with countless other contestants. Now, you’re fighting some stiff headwinds. Uneasiness, doubt, and frustration set in. You want to finish the course. Keep the faith. What do you do? Just hang on. Never surrender. Keep running well. Endure!

  • "The Importance of Friendship"

From the moment he received word that Jonathan had fallen victim to the Philistines, David’s life greatly diminished.  Why?  Jonathan was his best friend.  In the growing presence of advancing technology, disappearing soical skills, and isolationism, friendship is an especially important relationship - one you cannot afford to ignore.

  • "The Power of Love"

Of love, it has been said: "...it is like ghosts.  Everybody talks about it, but few have seen any."  This series’ centerpiece is Paul’s matchless "love chapter," I Corinthians 13, as we focus on "the greatest thing in the world."

  • "Encounters with Jesus"

Zacchaeus.  Mary Magdalene.  A rich ruler.  A poor widow.  Mary and Martha.  And many others...People with their own sets of problems and sins.  Like us.  And also like us, once they met Jesus, their lives would never be the same.

  • "Keeper of the Springs"

Christian marriage may well be the final hope for preserving the cherished values of American life and culture.  With its purifying influence, this sacred union can and must make its affect felt if we are to reverse some troubling trends.

Series C: (special series) "Church Leadership for the 21st Century"

This much needed theme will concentrate on the following topics:

  •    "Trends in Corporate Leadership"
  •    "Leadership"
  •    "Types of Leadership"
  •    "Biblical Role of Leadership"
  •    "Biblical Models of Leadership"
  •    "Biblical Leadership Qualities"

 Methods/Applications/Compensation
